PT KITCHEN SUPERVISOR

Halfway Home of the Lehigh Valley is seeking a part-time cook / kitchen supervisor. Duties to include:

  • Manage weekly food ordering process.
  • Supervise inventory and storage of received foods.
  • Instruct and supervise kitchen workers on food service personal hygiene, facility cleaning and sanitation, food preparation and safety training.
  • Instruct kitchen workers on pre-preparation of food to stage meals.
  • Teach kitchen workers the proper use of kitchen equipment in conjunction with safe food handling and preparation procedures.
  • Maintain cleaning schedule and supervise kitchen and food storage area cleaning process.
  • Teach kitchen workers proper cooling temperatures and cross-contamination prevention in handling of raw foods.

PT Certified Recovery Specialist

Treatment Trends seeks Certified Recvoery Specialists (CRS).  Applicants must have a personal experience of receovery from substance abuse disorder and myst have, at minimum, two years of continuous sobriety.  We are seeking candidates who are passionate about recovery and enthusiatic about helping to develop the new CRS service. 

Applicants must have a GED/High School Diploma. The ideal candidates will have 2 or more years' work experience and/or education in the addiction treatment field, and a demonstrated ability to complete all required paperwork/documentation within a related field. Applicants must either be State Certified as a Recovery Specialist or willing to obtain training for certification and pass test for certification within one year of employment as a CRS.

CRS will potentially work weekends and/or Saturdays. CRS will work with individuals at Confront, at other treatment agencies, and in the community.

Criminal justice entry level technicians, part time, for residential drug/alcohol program. Responsible for security & monitoring established protocols. HS Diploma/GED/driver's license, criminal background check required. Veterans are welcome. EOE.

PT FFS Counselor - Confront

PT FFS (fee for service) Counseling position currently available for a creative, intelligent and versatile counselor for individual and group therapy. Masters level preferred or minimum of a Bachelors Degree in Psychology, Criminal Justice, Social Work or Counseling. Candidates should have experience with children and adolescents with familiarity of addiction, recovery and criminality. Mental Health/Co-Occurring Disorders experience is also very helpful.
